Forex Trading – Let’s Talk

I love Forex Trading

One of my most favorite things to do is forex trading, and in particular forex scalpling. The currency trading markets, though mostly unregulated, at least when compared to the stock markets and futures markets, makes it much easier, in general, for a person to start with a low amount of cash, and still achieve success in trading forex.

Forex Trading Is No More Risky Than Eating Dinner

You will sometimes hear, particularly from stock and futures “advisors”, that forex trading is “too risky”. Well, I suppose just about everything in life could be considered “too risky” to some people. You could simply be eating dinner, just like you have done 10,000 times before, and get choked. That’s a real risk you run every time you eat something. But, somehow, you are experienced enough and you have a real strategy, and you know how to use your tools (a fork, chopsticks, or your fingers), and you somehow “survive”, right?

Forex trading is the same. If you have the proper forex trading strategy, and know how to use your forex trading tools, such as your indicators associated with your trading method, then you will generally do just fine. You still have to manage risk, but it’s no more difficult and stressful than anything else.

Forex Trading and Scalping = Eating Dinner = Survive

I mean, think about it this way. Are you scared of eating dinner? And, what happens if you don’t eat? You don’t survive. What about forex trading, and in particular scalping forex? It’s not quite the same as don’t eat = die, but it’s not far from it if you are a professional forex trader. If you don’t trade, you don’t eat. And, not only that, you have to “eat the right things” and in the right way.

So, an advantage we have when first starting out forex trading is that we are NOT likely to be “trading forex for a living” Right Now. That means we can trade with smaller lot sizes, and if we lose a trade or two while we are learning, we can survive just fine, and continue on gathering experience. This might not help us much with our fantasy of quitting our job next week, but it’s a reality we must deal with.

I’m hoping to continually add more thoughts and ideas as I continue to gather experience with my forex trading. I’m going focus mostly on scalping forex. I hope to become a true professional at forex scalping, and I believe I can. And will. Join me in my forex trading experience.
